Bryant Furnishing Ltd - Terms & Conditions of Sale

Effective Date: 01 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, sales, deliveries, installations and services supplied by Bryant Furnishing Ltd ("we", "our" or "us"). By placing an order, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Prices and VAT

1.1 All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£).

1.2 VAT will be charged at the prevailing UK rate where applicable.

1.3 Prices may change without notice before an order is accepted. Once your order has been confirmed, the agreed price will remain fixed unless changes are requested by the Customer or additional materials become necessary.


2. Quotations

2.1 All quotations remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Quotations are based on the information available at the time and may require amendment if measurements, specifications or product availability change.


3. Deposits and Payments

Wallpaper orders must be paid in full when ordered.

Made-to-measure curtains, blinds and bespoke furnishings require a minimum 50% deposit.

Re-upholstery work requires a 75% deposit before work commences.

The remaining balance becomes payable on collection, delivery or installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Where deliveries or installations are completed in stages, Bryant Furnishing Ltd reserves the right to request interim payments reflecting the value of goods already supplied.


4. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept:

  • Debit Cards
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Bank Transfer (BACS)
  • Cheques

Cheques should be payable to Bryant Furnishing Ltd.


5. Ownership of Goods

Legal ownership of all goods remains with Bryant Furnishing Ltd until payment has been received in full.

Risk in the goods transfers to the Customer upon delivery or collection.


6. Delivery and Installation

Delivery dates are estimates only.

Whilst every reasonable effort is made to meet estimated delivery dates, delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, transport providers or circumstances outside our reasonable control cannot be guaranteed against.

Customers must ensure: 

  • safe access
  • adequate parking where possible 
  • someone is present to receive deliveries
  • installation areas are ready before our arrival

Where delivery or installation cannot proceed due to circumstances outside our control, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable additional visit fee.


7. Lead Times

Typical production times are:

  • Curtains – 6 to 8 weeks
  • Roman Blinds – 6 to 8 weeks
  • Upholstery – 6 to 8 weeks

Lead times supplied by third-party manufacturers may vary.


8. Bespoke Products

Most of our products are individually manufactured to the Customer’s specification.

Because these goods are personalised or made to measure, they cannot normally be cancelled, returned or refunded unless:

  • they are faulty;
  • incorrectly supplied; or
  • your statutory rights require otherwise


9. Cancellations

If Bryant Furnishing Ltd agrees to cancel an order before manufacture has commenced, a cancellation charge may apply to recover costs already incurred.

Where fabrics, wallpapers or other goods have already been ordered, any supplier restocking charges and carriage costs will also be payable.


10. Fabric, Wallpaper and Natural Materials

Many fabrics, wallpapers and natural materials contain characteristics which are inherent to the product.

Examples include:

  • natural slubs
  • colour variation
  • texture variation
  • weave irregularities
  • batch differences

These are not regarded as faults.

Customers are encouraged to request current stock cuttings before placing large orders.


11. Shrinkage and Environmental Conditions

Natural fibres may react to humidity, sunlight, temperature and cleaning methods.

Bryant Furnishing Ltd cannot accept responsibility for normal movement, shrinkage or changes caused by environmental conditions beyond our control.


12. Customer-Supplied Materials

We generally manufacture using fabrics supplied by Bryant Furnishing Ltd.

Where we agree to use customer-supplied fabrics, we cannot accept responsibility for:

  • suitability
  • hidden defects
  • colour fastness 
  • shrinkage
  • manufacturing faults within the supplied material

Additional making-up charges may apply.


13. Measurements

Where Bryant Furnishing Ltd undertakes measuring, we accept responsibility for the accuracy of those measurements.

Where measurements are supplied by the Customer, Bryant Furnishing Ltd cannot accept responsibility for errors arising from incorrect dimensions.


14. Force Majeure

Bryant Furnishing Ltd shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • supplier delays
  • shortages of materials 
  • transport disruption
  • strikes
  • severe weather
  • fire 
  • flood
  • pandemics
  • government restrictions
  • utility failures


15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Subject to the above, Bryant Furnishing Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit or business interruption arising from delays, supplier issues or events beyond our reasonable control.


16. Consumer Rights

Nothing contained within these Terms affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
